Miesha Theresa Tate ( born on 18 August 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. She is a participant in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and was an ex- UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate was earlier a Strikeforce female bantamweight champion. She was also the vice-president of ONE Championship. She is currently ranked in the top 10 in the UFC women’s bantamweight rankings as on the 3rd of October, 2022.



 



 Early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and husband Robert Schmidt. She was a teeny-tweener in her early years She often hung out with boys from her community on playgrounds.
